Citrix

The Citrix client allows you to use Windows tools on Linux and OSX. Visit the link at https://citrix.fb.wur.nl/ and login with your WUR account. Next install the free ICA client from [[1][Citrix]]. When you click on an icon in the browser, the application should fire up.

Linux

Debian

Select the Debian package (.deb extension) from the Citrix site. Download it and, for example

 sudo dpkg -i icaclient_12.0.0_i386.deb 

Now the certificates may not be found, resulting in a 'Addtrust External CA Root' not allowed (61) error. Copy the Mozilla certificates in place with

 dpkg -L icaclient  # check locations
 sudo cp -vau /usr/share/ca-certificates/mozilla/* /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts

Now it should just work (tm).

OSX

Install the Citrix receiver from the Citrix website. Next start the browser, visit the link above this page and ... that is all. It even works from home!

Using Citrix Applications @WUR

Medewerker button

in library64 go to Desktop Library,

this will open a windows 7 desktop.

Go To start-> Computer -> M-drive -> menu -> WUR

Here you will find a link to the Medewerkers button

For PSG use

Start -> Computer -> M-drive -> \\dfs-root\Apps\MyData

Where you will find a link to the button(!)
