How to configure Pidgin to use the Skype for Business platform of Wageningen University & Research. Please note that Videoconferencing will not work with Pidgin but audio calls however work fine!
Installation
You need the following packages installed:
sudo apt-get install pidgin pidgin-sipe
Configuration
At the Basic tab:
- Protocol: Office Communicator
- Username : your full e-mail address (e.g. Documentation.User@wur.nl)
- Login: WUR\your login name (e.g. WUR\user001)
- Password: the corresponding password
At the Advanced tab:
- Server[:Port]: sip.wur.nl
- Authentication scheme: NTLM
